Photography is not my job.. it's my passion!

I love capturing those special moments in a persons life! I have been taking photos since I was young (a long time ago), and really got involved with "creating" special prints in high school. As editor of our school yearbook for 2 years - I developed my style of "real life photography" - capturing peoples emotions - not just their picture.

I believe things in life happen for a reason - Picture It began almost by accident. I volunteered to do some work on a fundraising event held in honor of a friend of ours. I took a few pictures that other people saw - they loved them and encouraged me to offer my photographs for sale...I went home and researched how to do that - the rest is history! After that, someone asked me to do a graduation picture and before I knew it, I had done 15!

Early in May 2007, a friend's son was ill and couldn't photograph his brother's wedding - I told her I would be happy to "try it" but cautioned her on my inexperience - the pictures came out beautiful! Last summer I photographed 7 weddings and discovered I just loved it. My "hobby" has now turned into a full-time business....
